ONE THING HAVE I DESIRED

About One Thing
Have I Desired
The author, Connie Lacelle, has been studying the Bible for over 65 years—listening to Christian and Torah teachers of all stripes, via Bible College and church and gatherings and the internet and books—learning much as she traveled around this mountain over and over. In 2003 her studies became focused on Torah, which was life changing since it opened up the Scriptures in ways she had never imagined. In her later years she felt compelled to put pretty much everything important that she had learned together into one set of publications to pass on to her children and to the world. As she prayed over the immense idea for a number of years, many potential formats came to mind and were subsequently forgotten—they all lacked something.
Finally, she was reminded of the Resurrection and the overall theme and format became clear. This set of PDF publications (when completed) will consist of one volume each for the five books of the Torah (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy) plus one volume for the biblical feasts and days of remembrance. The volumes will be released separately to keep them down to a manageable size. We have just finished writing the lessons for the book of Genesis. We need to take a short book-keeping break and then, if YHWH allows, we will commence working on the book of Exodus.
The world seems to have forgotten that our blessed hope is the Resurrection. We will die, but that does not have to be the end of our existence. The Creator, knowing we will sin and die, made a way for us to live with Him forever if we want to because that’s why He created us. He wants a forever family! But the way has to be legal; He is all about doing things decently and in order.
Knowing all things before anything was ever created, Elohim designed a system whereby He could legally save a people for Himself out of all the people who would ever be born. Once Adam and Eve had sinned, He promised them that He would send Someone to fix their mess.
(This page includes the first four sections from the PDF's Introduction: AUTHOR, CONCEPT, WHY and HOW. Now you will want to read the rest of the story.)
